Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Music Library

We are a branch of University of Denver Libraries. All students, staff, faculty and alumni who can borrow from the main library can also borrow from the Music Library.

Location

We are located in room 440 of the Lamont School of Music. You will find us at the east end of the fourth-floor hallway.

ALERT: The Lamont School of Music building elevator is currently out of order, and the northeast and northwest stairwells are currently the only means to access the Music Library on the fourth-floor. For those whose mobility precludes access by the use of the elevator, please contact the Music Library to arrange for delivery or return of library materials on the main floor of the Lamont building:

Hours

The Music Library is open on the following schedule when classes are in session:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday–Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During school breaks and interterms we are open as follows:

  • Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Our collection includes more than 26,000 music scores, 18,000 books on music, 17,000 audio and video recordings, and extensive online subscriptions.

Search the Music Library’s holdings through Compass.

We also lend selected tech gadgets such as audio and video recorders, phone and laptop chargers, an Ableton Launchkey, an Etherwave Theremin, and more.
