Library Hours & Building Access

The Anderson Academic Commons (AAC) is home to more than just the Library. The hours listed here are for the AAC and Library services, as well as the Music Library (located in the Lamont School of Music). Hours will vary for study and tutoring support services located in the AAC.

The Anderson Academic Commons is open, but visitors are encouraged to review the University of Denver's COVID-19 page for complete campus protocols and updates.

General Hours During Academic Quarters (Fall, Winter & Spring)

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight)
  • Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight)

General Summer and Interterm Hours

(except campus holidays and closures)

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

Research Center Desk Hours

General Hours During Academic Quarters (Fall, Winter & Spring)

  • Monday–Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

General Summer and Interterm Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Special Collections and Archives Hours

The Special Collections Reading Room is available by appointment only to currently enrolled students and DU employees cleared for campus access.
