University Library Association Collection Development Grant Program

For nearly three decades, the University Library Association (ULA) Collection Development Program has supported collections growth in specific disciplines, research areas, and courses of study. Made possible through an annual funding gift, the ULA Program ensures that the Libraries continue to support current teaching and research at DU.

Currently, grants of up to $3,000 are given for proposals made in an application cycle. Faculty may submit ULA grant proposals, as may graduate and undergraduate students so long as they have a faculty sponsor. All materials purchased with ULA funds are housed in the Libraries as part of the collections.

The ULA Program is initiated annually via an announcement and application materials sent to faculty by their library liaison and the Collections & Content Management Librarian. If you have questions about the ULA Program, please contact your library liaison and Shannon Tharp, Collections & Content Management Librarian.
