Ira Beck sits at his desk at Central Electric Supply Co. Beck became president of the company in 1969, succeeding his father Sam Beck, who founded the company and was elected chairman. Located at 500 Quivas Street in Denver, Colorado, Central Electric was a leading wholesale distributor of electrical construction material and lighting equipment in the Rocky Mountain region.
