Shop at or donate books to the Book Stacks – great bargains for book lovers - all proceeds benefit University of Denver libraries
The Book Stacks sells new, used, and rare books on a variety of topics. There are more than 35,000 used, new and rare books in over 90 subjects, including history, psychology, travel, foreign language titles, crafts, fiction, and many more. The Book Stack has been named the "best used bookstore in Denver" by Denver’s Westword magazine. Many University of Denver (DU) students, faculty, and staff who visit the Book Stack consider it one of the best kept secrets on DU’s campus.
All proceeds benefit Penrose Library. Please join us to browse the great selection of books for purchase, or consider donating your own collection of used books to the Book Stack. Many community members chose to donate books to the Book Stack, particularly when they decide to move to a smaller residence and no longer have space for book collections.

Parking
Parking for the WLA Book Stack is available throughout campus in visitor parking lots that are identified by the color GREEN on
maps and signs and by 300 series numbers. Parking lots 303, 304, and 305 are closest to the Book Stacks. Because parking on campus is a precious commodity, it may be limited at times.
Parking meters and pay stations are in effect from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (unless otherwise noted), seven days a week, including holidays and periods when school is not in session. Generally, they are programmed to provide parking for only up to 3 hours. This is to encourage rapid turnover of the stalls so that as many visitors as possible may use those spaces during the course of a school day. However longer parking is available by purchasing a ‘scratch-off’ permit from our library office. On Saturday and Sunday only, you may park for the entire day for the price of $6.00. To do this, enter the number of hours that you will be parking on campus into the pay machine and then you will be prompted to pay the maximum rate of $6.00 for the day. Metered spaces do not have this option.
Book donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductable.
