Policies, Procedures, and Charges
Equipment in Smart Classrooms
All of the equipment in the smart classrooms is free of charge for DU organizations as well as for classes. The standard smart classroom set up consists of the following:
-LCD Projector/Screen
-Sound System/Stereo Receiver
-DVD/VHS Player
-Overhead (Transparency) Projector

Deadline for Ordering Equipment

For Non-Class events, Equipment ordered with less than 3 days notice will be subjected to a 20% late fee (for all items ordered). Equipment ordered with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a 50% late fee.
Explanation of Charges:
DU Affiliated Events:
If audio visual equipment is necessary for an event put on by a DU-Related organization, the group must contact Event Media Support with the organization (budget) number to be charged. Please see Price List for associated charges for equipment. Please remember that we require adequate time to schedule events or a late charge will be assessed (See Deadline for Ordering Equipment).
 
Non-DU Affiliated Events:
With limited exceptions, all non-DU related groups must go through Conferencing & Event services to book an event at the University. Event Media Support will work with C&E to accommodate all audio visual requests and charge C&E the amount. Conferencing will then provide a single invoice detailing all requested services with Event Media Support being one of those services. 1. In order to ensure the highest quality service, we may insist on the use of our own equipment for your event.
2. We will charge full replacement cost for any equipment is lost or irreparably damaged by the client.
