Digital Production Services

The library now has a fully implemented audio/video editing and scanning studio equipped with the state of the art equipment. We offer audio, video, and scanning services.

To submit a basic audio or video duplication request, visit Digital Production Services.

Audio Services:

  • Analog to Digital Conversion

    (Real-time audio conversion from a single cassette, tape, Vinyl Disc, or disc)

  • Audio File Conversion

    (Convert audio files from one format to another)

  • Audio Duplication

    (Includes disc label)

  • CD Duplication

    (Copy entire CD or selected tracks from same CD)

    **Direct disc-to-disc copying may not be possible for some CDs. If real-time audio transfer is required, pricing for analog-to-digital conversion will apply.

Audio File Formats Supported: wav, aiff, mp3, aac, wma

Additional formats may be supported in the future.  Please consult with the Media Technician if you have questions.

Video Services:

  • Event Video Production

(High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition)

  • Editing

(Non-linear editing system)

  • Analog to Digital Conversion

(Convert analog signal to digital format)

  • Video File Conversion

(Convert video files from one format to another)

**Real-time processing and encoding is required for most international DVD conversions, or when direct disc-to-disc copying is otherwise not possible.

  • Video Duplication

(Duplicate numerous copies of Video)

** Copyright restrictions may apply. Please consult with the Media Technician if you have questions.

  • Disc Copy

(Direct disc-to-disc copying may not be possible for some discs.  If real-time transfer is required, pricing for DVD conversion will apply)

  • DVD Authoring (including disc label and sleeve)

(Create a customized disc menu that displays the title for each clip or program copied to the DVD. The custom DVD menu is accessible by pressing “menu” on your player’s remote control.)

  • Clip Editing

(Copy multiple video clips or programs)
**Setup, importing, encoding, copying and titling of multiple clips is a time-consuming, labor-intensive process.  

  • DVD Cleaning and Repair:

(Clean and remove scratches from DVD's)


Video File Formats Supported:

HDCAM, DVD+/-R, Mini DV, VHS, S-VHS, International DVD, PAL/SECAM, Video CD (VCD), AVI, MOV, MPEG 1/2/4, FLV, WMV, H.264.   Additional formats may be supported in the future.  Please consult with the Media Technician if you have questions.

Restrictions: 

Original DVD menus and special features cannot be copied.  You will be notified if your request requires revision or cannot be fulfilled due to copyright restrictions.   Please consult with Access Services if you have questions.
