The Loft

Policy

Loft hanging

The Loft is a mediated space managed by the University Libraries, with priority given to library research instruction and workshops. When not scheduled for that purpose, it may then be used on a walk-in basis, or it may be reserved for a fee for specific dates and times.  It is available for meetings and events on Saturdays, and Sundays. No recurring meetings will be accepted. No alcoholic beverages or plated meals are allowed in this room.

Occasional availability may exist for weekday events during less busy periods of each quarter (Monday-Friday).

Fees

In accordance with this policy and its limited availability, The Loft may be reserved in advance by current DU faculty, staff, and students up to 4 hours at a time, for groups between 15-48 people, for the following fees:

Base fee:  1 – 4 hours $50*, additional 1-4 hours $50*

         *Students may book for a discounted fee of $25

 

Technology fees are additional.  Room set-up fees may apply.
