Patrons of the Friends of the Carson Brierly Giffin Dance Library are part of a unique organization-- an active community of dance enthusiasts and advocates. The Carson Brierly Giffin Dance Library is committed to serving the Rocky Mountain Dance community, including historians, researchers, students, teachers and devotees. The Library contains materials relating to social, theatre, ethnic, ritual, dance-drama and related dance studies. The Friends of the Carson Brierly Giffin Dance Library provide financial and in-kind support to the Dance Library to help ensure that it remains an important resource for everyone interested in dance. A major goal of the dance library is to digitize significant parts of the dance library collection, thereby making these items available online to scholars and dance fans who are not able to visit the library in person.
