Drive on I-25 to the University Boulevard South exit (205b). Exit I-25 and drive south on University Boulevard for about 1/2 mile. Take a right heading westbound at Evans Ave. The Penrose Library is on your left (south side) of the divided street. You can park under the College of Law building in Lot #321 or continue to drive under the pedestrian overpass (Driscoll Center, building 25a on some of the web maps.) Take a Right at Race St. and park in the visitors lot #302. (Take a look at the online map of DU.) Penrose is on the south side of Evans.
If you are traveling eastbound on Evans and if you want to gamble a little bit, you could try to park in lot 315 which is right next to Penrose, but there are not that many visitor spots.
