The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), established in 1962, is an integral part of the infrastructure of social science research. ICPSR maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for research and instruction. Data files can be imported into SPSS, SAS, or other statisical programs. The Image Commons provides access to images available to current faculty, students, and staff at the University of Denver to use for educational purposes. Images include paintings, sculpture, architecture, photographs, maps, and more, from around the world and from prehistoric times to the present. These images may be used in DU papers and presentations, but may not be made available on the Web nor used in publications without the consent of the copyright holder. When using an image, always cite the source of the image. If you need help with finding images, contact the Penrose Library Research Center.

A database of over 34,000 bibliographic entries that are based on the following source: Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences. University of Denver students, faculty, and staff have access to the full text articles from journals it subscribes to from this database. INSPEC is a leading bibliographic information database covering the fields of physics, electronics, computing, control engineering and information technology with more than nine million records taken from 3,800 technical and scientific journals and 2,200 conference proceedings. The International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS), produced by the London School of Economics and Political Science, includes over 2.5 million references to journal articles, books, reviews and selected chapters dating back to 1951. IBSS focuses mainly on the four core social science disciplines - anthropology, economics, politics and sociology - but it also covers a range of interdisciplinary subjects, such as development studies, human geography and environment and gender studies.
